Freshman Judah Cosby started a blanket drive, asking members of the Holy Trinity community to donate blankets for the homeless.

Blankets collected from students and faculty here at HT were donated to His Place Ministries & Center for Community Outreach where they will now be sent out to the homeless who currently have little to no clothing to keep them warm during the last few weeks of the cold front and the remaining winter months.

Cosby regularly sees homeless people with nothing to keep them warm and decided to make a difference.

“Everyday after school, I drive home and to get home I pass His Place [Ministries] and every time I pass it I see homeless people, especially in the mornings, cold without blankets,” said Cosby.

This isn’t the first time Cosby has gone out of his way to help those at His Place Ministries.

“Outside of the blanket drive I usually drop them off food and other stuff like that,” said Cosby.

Multiple blanket donations have already made it to His Place and around 15 blankets have already been dropped off and given to those who need it most.
