Junior Audrey Herbert has started her own nail technician business. She shares her journey into the world of beauty and entrepreneurship.
Herbert’s passion for nails isn’t just for fleeting interest, she has a long term goal in mind. “Yes, I do see myself doing this to make more money during high school and college and hopefully start my own business sometime in the future,” she said. Herbert’s plans to balance school and growing her nail tech business.
The inspiration behind Herbert’s business adventure into the nail industry comes from her mother, who worked in the beauty industry. “My mom worked in beauty, and I wanted to do the same thing to make money,” she shares. Beyond the money aspect of doing nails, Herbert finds joy in the creative process and client interactions.
Herbert is not only passionate but also qualified. She proudly holds a beauty license and now has a diverse clientele, including senior citizens and people from Holy Trinity. Despite being relatively new to the nail tech industry, having done nails for just five months now, Herbert’s dedication and talent shows.
