Sports Editor Julia McCarthy is a senior and third-year staff reporter for The Growl. She recently attended the HSJI Journalism Institute at Indiana University and the NSPA Journalism Convention in Chicago, Illinois. Her hobbies include playing soccer, making Spotify playlists, obsessing over celebrities, and going to concerts with her friends. She can’t wait to keep writing more stories for future issues of The Growl.
